Casino Management System

One of projects of such type that we were engaged on is the Casino Management System. The slot-machines are equipped with special, proprietary devices (microcomputer-based embedded hardware) that are on one side connected to the machine itself and on the other to the local PC machine. Software that we develop, by means of the local computer network, integrates machines into a single information system through which the complete casino management is made. This includes smartcard-based cashless payment and payout at the machines, periodic machine audits, monitoring and stimulation of players' activity, multi-level reward system (machine-level, casino-level and the level of all connected casinos).

Just think that the above-mentioned example did not concern casinos and slot-machines but any topology with end nodes that perform the work process, and a need for central monitoring and control of the work process. Think of a diary farm with a milking system that is monitored and managed from a single place. Or, you can imagine a system of uninterruptible power supply units that also have to be controlled from a central place. These are good examples of the systems that we develop.

Immigration and Relocation of People

Western countries have, now decades long, practice of facilitating organized immigration of people from foreign countries (economical or political emigrants, war refugees, etc.). Since the immigrants are being accepted from different parts of the world, the organization of gathering, transport and naturalization of such people requires ample human and material resources. Computer software for support of such activities presents a good example of a distributed database capable of:

  • Acquisition of all the relevant data, such as: immigrant personal data, data related to booking of accommodation facilities, airplane, railway and bus tickets, additional transport requirements such as wheelchairs, medical escort, any additional expenses etc.
  • Providing reports such as: how many people are there scheduled for each flight, how many people is to be transported each month, the expenses required for organization of transport in a given period of time, monthly reports etc..
  • Providing data needed for automatic tracking of expenses, links with finance and bookkeeping.

Every user of such a system can see the data that he/she needs and which are generated by some other system user.

The above mentioned project has been successfully completed. It can be compared with any work process that requires data processing, such as: manufacturing control, hotel information system, bookkeeping, etc. ArCo 011 possesses both knowhow and resources that can respond to almost all demands for development of applications of such type.
